Today after Mandarin class, Michael and I had Gu drop off us in a nearby section of town for lunch. We figured we would walk around until we found a place that looked interesting. Well, we walked for quite a while, and other than fish head soup, chicken feet, and salted dried squid which was being sold by street vendors, there wasn't much avaliable. When we finally came across a more commercial area, our choices were McDonalds, KFC, or Pizza Hut. Since we had already done McDonalds and KFC, we decided to get some pizza. What a shock... apparently in Shanghai, Pizza Hut is a classy restaurant. The tasteful lighting and elegant ambience were highlighted by the classical piano tunes piped into the restaurant through hidden speakers. Besides pizza, you could also order steaks, seafood, pasta, and even milkshakes! Who would have thunk it?Saturday, February 6, 2010
Pizza Hut, Shanghainese style...

I wonder if they will be crowded for Valentines Day? Maybe Corb needs to make reservations for our date night out at our local establishment.
ReplyDeleteBepaw will be checking out the blog soon. We are going there today to put it in his favorites.
